Your TalentCards users gain access to their card sets by downloading the app and entering in their unique access code. By default, this feature is not activated on paid plans, meaning users can log in to TalentCards from as many devices as they’d like. In free plans users can only enter their access code into a single device.

Once you have switched from a free to paid plan, you can activate this feature to limit how many devices a user can access the app from.

Follow these steps to adjust the number of devices that your users can access TalentCards from:

  1. Sign in to your TalentCards account as an Administrator.

  2. Expand the left side-menu (1) and click on App control (2).

  3. Select Device Management (3).

  4. Enable the option Limit user access (4) and specify the number of devices a user can enter their access code into (5). The minimum number of devices is 1 and the maximum is 10.

  5. Select Apply to Many (6) if you want this to change to apply to all of your groups (7), or specify which groups you’d like it to apply to(8), and click Apply (9).

  6. Once you’ve finished, click Save Changes (10).

Note: If a user has exceeded the number of devices they are allowed to enter their access code into, they will encounter the error Invalid access token as shown below.

You can also check which devices a user has entered their access code into by following these steps:

  1. Sign in to your TalentCards account as an Administrator.

  2. Go to the Users tab (1), and find the user that you’re interested in. To see which devices they have logged into TalentCards from, click Show user’s report (2).

  3. Select Manage devices (3) in the top-right corner.

  4. In this list, you can see the devices that the user has currently logged into. All devices that the specific user has ever used will appear in this list. You may delete an unwanted device from the list by clicking on the trash icon (4). Keep in mind that doing so does not erase a user’s progress.

Note: The ability to restrict the number of devices, and view which devices a user has logged in from does not apply to the portal owner, or the administrators.
