How to view quiz results
To check the results of a quiz, including AI evaluated answers:
- Sign in to your TalentCards account as an Administrator.
- Go to Card Sets (1) and open the set containing the quiz you’d like to view results for, either by clicking on the set's title or by clicking the Edit Content button (2).
- Click on Set Analytics (3), expand Quizzes (4), and select which quiz you’d like to see results for (5).
What you will see
For each question in the quiz, the analytics view shows a breakdown of responses marked Correct vs. Wrong, expressed as a percentage of all passing attempts.
Short answer questions are automatically evaluated by AI based on the evaluation instructions you defined when creating the question. The AI assesses whether the learner's answer meets your specified criteria, focusing on meaning rather than exact wording, spelling, or formatting.
Exporting results
You can export the quiz results to a spreadsheet. The export includes, for each learner and attempt:
- The learner's name and email address.
- Their written answer for each short answer question.
- Whether the AI marked the answer correct or incorrect (colour-coded: green for correct, red for incorrect).
- The overall attempt result (passed or failed) and score.
- An average percentage correct across all passing attempts at the bottom.
If the AI made a mistake
Short answer questions are evaluated automatically by AI, based on the evaluation instructions you set when creating the question. The AI assesses whether the learner's answer meets the criteria you defined, focusing on meaning rather than exact wording, spelling, or formatting.
If you notice that the AI has marked a response incorrectly (for example, marking a valid answer as wrong), update the evaluation instructions on the question to make the criteria clearer. This will help the AI evaluate future responses more accurately.
