Building cards in the new editor

Our new editor marks a substantial advancement in the TalentCards editing interface. Designed to be intuitive and user-friendly, the new editor offers a range of upgraded features and tools that empower users to create engaging and visually captivating card sets.
Once you open the new editor, you’ll find an options bar on the left-hand side of the screen. This includes:
Editing options
Use the selector (1) to select any existing element on a card (2), move it, edit it, or delete it.
Adding Templates
Select templates (1) and choose one of our defaults (2) or make your own (3), so you won’t need to add the same common elements of your preference in every card you make.
Edit your template using the following options (4).
Background color (5): Choose a color for the background of the card. You can also save a specific color of your preference to use it whenever you want.
Upload background (6): You can edit and crop your own images and upload them as backgrounds on your cards.
AI background (7): Generate a new card background depending on the title and description of your card set.
Save Template (8): Give your own elements to your card and save it as a template to use whenever you want.
Clone card (9): Make an exact copy of the current card.
Publish/unpublish card (10): Make this card visible or invisible to users.
Delete card (11).
Adding Text
Type your text (1) within the borders of the card without any character limit (2).
Once you’ve added text to your card, the following options will appear:
Format options (3): Choose between bold, italic, or underlined text.
Text alignment (4): Choose the alignment of your text within the boundaries you have set.
Text color (5): Change the color of your text.
Highlight color (6): Highlight any part of your text with the color of your preference.
Border color (7): Change the color of your text frame.
Background color (8): Change the color of your text background.
Font (9): Choose the text font style of your preference.
Size (10): Choose the size of your text characters.
Emoji (11): Choose an emoji to decorate your text.
Clone text (12): Make an exact copy of the current text.
Delete this text (13).
Click the three-dotted button for more options (14). You can add a bullet or numbered list or move the text forward or backward in front of or behind an element.
Adding Images
Select images (1) and choose to add any image you want from our library (2) or upload your images (3). Keep in mind that .jpeg, .jpg, and .png file types are supported. The preferred size is 800x1200, and the max image size is 2 MB.
Once you add an image to your card, the following options will appear (4).
Bring forward (5): Put this image in front of another element.
Bring backward (6): Put this image behind another element.
Crop image (7): Crop this image to your liking.
Duplicate image (8): Make an exact copy of this image.
Set image as the card background (9): Make this image your card background.
Replace (10): Place another image at the exact spot the previous one was.
Delete this image (11).
Adding Video and Audio files
Select video (1), and you can search and select a YouTube (2) or a Vimeo (3) video by typing the name of it at the search bar or pasting the URL link (4) of another website. Alternatively, your own video file (5) can be uploaded. Keep in mind that the max video size is 300 MB.
Once you add a video to the card, the following video options appear.
Change thumbnail to background (6): The video will fill the whole card like a background.
Show as a button (7): The video will appear only if users press this button.
Delete this video (8).
Select audio (9) to upload your audio file (10) or you can record an audio file (11) and add it to your card. Keep in mind that mp3 files are supported, and the max audio file size is 16 MB.
Once you add audio to your card, the following options will appear.
Delete audio (12).
Require learners to hear the entire audio (13): Activating this option will force learners to listen to the entire audio before proceeding.
Enable autoplay (14): Activating this option will automatically start the audio as soon as a learner accesses this card.
Attaching a PDF file
Select PDF (1) to attach a PDF file to your card. Drag and drop your PDF file in the designated area (2) or click Browse (3) to select the file from your device. Keep in mind that the maximum file size is 3MB.
After uploading a PDF file, you will find it in the uploaded PDF files (4). You can delete the PDF file from your card using the delete file (5).
Attaching a hyperlink
To add a link to your card, select the link icon (1), and then add any URL (2) in the search bar and attach it (3) to the card.
